BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
Our Bereavement Support Service is an important part of the care the
Hospice provides, not only to relatives, friends and carers of patients
we have cared for, but also to people within the Rossendale community
who have bereavement issues.
There is no ‘right’ way of grieving, grief is an individual
experience.
Bereavement Support gives you the opportunity to discuss how things are
for you, what support you feel would help and what we can do to support
you.
We have an open referral system. If we feel that we are
the right people to help then an appointment will be made
to see you at the Hospice. Appointments usually last 50
minutes. The amount of sessions offered will be decided
between the Nurse and the client. On average this is usually
between 4-6 sessions.
